Description
Duties- Extract medical information from faxes and type into MS word/patient charts
- Transcribe medical reports, summaries, and patient histories
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of transcribed documents
- Edit and proofread transcriptions for errors or inconsistencies
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient information
- Bachelor's degree from a 4 year accredited college/university
- Previous experience as a Medical Transcriptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with medical office procedures and practices
- Detailoriented with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies
As a Medical Transcriptionist, you will play a crucial role in accurately transcribing medical information from one source to another to ensure the proper documentation of patient care.
Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
