    What does the job involve?
    This position is responsible for safe and efficient execution of marine operations and associated logistical support to both onshore and offshore assets. Key stakeholder management regarding vessel performance and service delivery. Regulatory knowledge and application regarding Port Authority and maritime compliance. Ownership of stock control, logistical movements, tracking and strategic spare parts. Site security regarding ISPS, goods inwards and despatch. Waste management and Hazardous material storage. This role reports to the Empire Operations Director.
    What will my tasks be?
    Within this position, your key tasks will be to:
    • Contract responsible for all vessels and related support towards operations and maintenance.
    • Owner for local procedures and processes for marine and warehouse operations and safety
    • Extensive experience of marine terminal audits including US Coast guard EPA and state agencies.
    • In depth familiarity of marine terminal operations and ship to shore interface.
    • Strong understanding of NYC port regulations and working awareness of US Coast Guard regulations.
    • Owner of ISPS (International Ship and Port Facility Security Code), facilities maintenance, stock management, port call support, customs clearing, import/export and other port roles Owner of offshore mobilization process
    • Accountable for stock control, tool storage/calibration, all logistical movements supporting the O&M team and operations group offshore rotational process.
    • Key contributor to the Empire Wind management team and discipline supporting Technical Representation during the SWA (service Warranty Agreement) period.
    • Key stakeholder and contributor towards emergency response.

    • 8 yrs. Marine Terminal facilities and logistics experience
    • Extensive experience of marine terminal audits including US Coast guard EPA and state agencies.
    • In depth familiarity of marine terminal operations and ship to shore interface.
    • Working awareness of US Coast Guard regulations
    • Facility management experience
    • Strong understanding of NYC port regulations
    • Ability to collaborate effectively with multiple teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
