About the job


The Administrative Assistant will provide direct programmatic support to a federal client in support of their administrative and communication needs for the executive team.


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain Executive Director's daily and longrange calendar
  • Prioritize appointments, meetings, and briefings for executive team
  • Track and log incoming meeting requests for Executive Secretariat
  • Arrange and coordinate meetings and book logistics
  • Respond to routine inquiries on executive team's activities and status
  • Answer and screen incoming calls and direct to appropriate staff members
  • Arrange, plan, and confirm travel for Executive Team
  • Manage and maintain office administrative functions, such as archiving records, ordering supplies, organizing meetings, arranging telecommunications, and providing logistics support
  • Support Transfer of Funds and acquisitions
  • Develop and maintain social media material
  • Research and compile information of interest and deliver and distribute notes, weekly

Basic Qualifications:


  • Must be a US Citizen
  • A college diploma, or equivalent, is required
  • Must have 3+ years of experience in an administrative assistant position
Experience with Federal Agency is preferred.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Facebook and other social media sites
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High level of time management
  • Excellent organization and prioritization
  • Excellent customer service skills
This position requires being present in-office.


Pay:
$54, $57,500.00 per year
