- Maintain current knowledge of apartment availability, rates, and features.
- Greet prospective residents and discuss their housing needs and desires.
- Review information packet, floor plans, deposits, etc. and present information regarding community offerings.
- Follow established policies and procedures in the qualification, screening, and acceptance of applicants for residency, in line with Fair Housing and Covid safety guidelines.
- Conduct property and apartment tours to include the showing of amenities, models, and available apartments.
- Maintain prospect and leasing information using RentCafe.
- Follow up within 48 hours of showing with prospective resident if lease was not signed and send appropriate thank you card.
- Follow the community lease renewal program. Maximize resident renewals.
- Prepare lease-related paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Explain all lease documents to new and existing residents. Ensure all documents are correctly completed prior to resident move-in.

- Assist with managing day-to-day operations of the community.
- Work closely with the management office to ensure apartments are ready for move-in and maintained in a satisfactory manner.
- Complete staff training as required.
- Maintain and safeguard confidential information.
- Remain flexible, receptive, and adaptive to change.
- Understand and apply basic principles of good housekeeping and safety.
- Perform other related duties as requested by supervisor.
- Bilingual in Spanish & English with cultural awareness and sensitivity required.
- At least one year of leasing experience or closely related face-to-face sales experience is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to source and attract clients/customers with a demonstrated ability to "close" a sale.
- Ability to engage in interpersonal interactions that are culturally responsive, ensuring consideration for differing needs and expectations.
- Working knowledge of basic accounting practices.
- Proven ability to work in a team atmosphere.
- Proven ability to organize and prioritize work projects.

- Ability to lift up to 10lbs

- Ability to complete daily tours between properties including but not limited to inspecting grounds, hallways, stairwell and apartment homes
- Ability to file, open and close file drawers, and enter data into a computer for extended periods of time

Position Summary
Aeon is seeking a Bilingual Leasing Agent (Spanish-English) to provide sales, marketing, and customer service support at a set of 220 apartment homes in Minneapolis. This position is a very sales-oriented position, and the ideal candidate will be highly goal-oriented. The Bilingual Leasing Agent reports to the Senior Site Manager.

This position pays $18-$20 per hour plus commissions Aeon offers an impressive benefit package that includes medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability, retirement plan, paid time off and an employee assistance program. Current work hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 8:30am-5pm. Variations to this schedule may arise given property needs. This is an in-person position and will office mostly out of The Minneapolis 220 which is a scattered site property, so regular travel between buildings will be necessary. Occasional work at Aeon's Central Office, training facilities and other properties will occur from time to time.
