- Required to make specific amount of daily outbound calls to schedule appointments for examinees, including follow-up appointments and rescheduled appointments while maintaining customer satisfaction standards.
- Communicate directly with claimants.
- Triage daily download of referrals and ensure appropriate worksheets are assigned to corresponding conditions as identified by Veteran's Administration
- Determine appropriate examinations, tests and specialists required for each case.
- Meet or exceed contract timeliness guidelines in both the scheduling and case management systems.
- Ensure all examinees and providers receive necessary documentation.
- Other projects and duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, or equivalent (GED) or 2 years of experience in lieu

- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Experience coordinating appointments for patients.
- Proficiency in utilizing various computer applications (i.e. MS Office), EMRs and other scheduling software.
- Highly skilled in multi-tasking while managing multiple priorities.
- Training Schedule (1st 2 weeks): Monday – Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
- 3rd week Schedule: Sunday - 8:00 am - 6:30 pm, Monday - Wednesday - 8:00 am - 7:00 pm (1 hour lunch)
- Anticipate up to 1 month of onsite training.
- After completion of training the position will be Remote.

As a Medical Case Specialist, you will support our Veterans Affairs Operations by assisting veterans coordinate and schedule required medical examinations used in the evaluation process for VA disability benefits.
