Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Controller to join our finance team. The Controller will be responsible for assisting in the financial management and reporting activities of the company. This is a key role that requires strong financial acumen and expertise in various accounting principles and software.


Duties:


  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Conduct account analysis and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing processes
  • Manage accounts payable function, including processing invoices and payments
  • Support payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory reports and filings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
  • Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls
  • Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
  • Stay updated on industry trends, accounting standards, and regulatory changes

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA certification is preferred
  • Proven experience in general ledger accounting and financial reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations (IFRS)
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar systems
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of debits, credits, and journal entries
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Pay:
$110, $120,000.00 per year
