- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform audits on proper maintenance completion.
- Inspect company equipment for possible problems and report findings.
- Assist with planning and scheduling of work orders, repairs, and servicing.
- Assist with planning, scheduling and coordination of resources, parts, materials, and equipment access.
- Partner with selected vendors to accomplish projects.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Support Maintenance KPI's and department yearly goals.
- Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.
- Possess proficiency with computer programs, specifically Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Able to plan, organize, and manage time effectively.
- Possess basic mathematic skills, specifically in arithmetic and algebra.
- Able to write and communicate effectively.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Other duties may be assigned.
- Above average academic achievement expected (prefer a Junior or Sophomore)
- Enrollment in a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related field.
- Possess knowledge and passion for the automotive manufacturing industry.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office software.
- Proficiency in AutoCad.
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to participate within a team as well as acting autonomously as appropriate.
- Able to plan, organize, and manage time effectively, as well as organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to plan and think ahead.
- 20 hours per week around intern's schedule during the academic year (hours are flexible)
- Position will be located at the UGN, Inc. facility in Monroe, Ohio.

Under the supervision of the Maintenance Manager, the Reliability Engineer Co-Op/Intern will work for approximately 20 hours a week and will provides technical and engineering problem solving support to plant departments as requested.

Thesixth UGN facility in Monroe, Ohio, officially opened in September 2015. The state-of-the-art facility has more than 475 team members and supplies Honda Motor Co. with superior acoustic insulation, carpet, and underfloor technologies. In the fall of 2018, UGN expanded the Monroe plant by adding another 150,000 square feet to the $50 million, 232,500 square footfacility to supply Toyota and Subaru. The UGN Monroe facility has already distinguished itself to Honda for exceptional service. Every year, Honda recognizes suppliers who increase value to the customer by removing waste within the overall product and supply chain. The Monroe facility was presented with the award in November, 2016.
