• Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE, a Joint Power Authority, formed by ninemember fire agencies in San Bernardino County, are parties to a publicprivate alliance model that will provide emergency and nonemergency ambulance services in portions of San Bernardino County, California. Together Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE were selected to provide emergency and nonemergency ambulance services in portions of San Bernardino County, California._
• Priority Ambulance California will work directly with CONFIRE EMS-MOBILE HEALTH (CONFIRE EMS), a division of CONFIRE. Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to emergency medicine, including emergency medical ground ambulance transportation, 911, interfacility, and critical care transportation._
• Priority Ambulance California is currently recruiting for EMS Academy Students to join the Priority Ambulance California and CONFIRE EMS team._

Provided to Participants:

$16/hr. Student Wage, Full-time Benefits, Tuition, Books, Uniforms, National Registry Exam, Licensing Fees
Expected from Participants: Full engagement with attendance to all classes, labs, and clinical rotations; prompt testing for License upon course completion; commitment to work for Priority Ambulance California in full-time position for at least 2 years following licensure


Classroom:

Chaffey College Fontana Campus (inner city Fontana and accessible by public transport)- Format: Live Instructor led Classes/Labs; Clinical rotations by host agencies


Schedule:

• Total class length is 8 weeks
• Monday through Thursday from 8:30 AM to 2:55 PM
• Clinical hours with host agencies

Beginning Date:
June 3, 2024

Slated Ending Date:
July 25, 2024

Admission Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older; valid Driver's License; High-school Diploma or GED.
