    Position Overview:

    As the Partnerships & Community Manager, you will be the onsite leader at our NYC campus, with the crucial responsibility of cultivating a lively local community and attracting leads through strategic partnerships. Your role plays a key part in bolstering our brand visibility and establishing a pool of potential students. You will significantly impact the experience of everyone who walks through our doors, ensuring our campus is a welcoming and interactive center for learning and networking.

    Responsibilities:

    • Campus Leadership: Lead the operations at our NYC campus, ensuring it is a welcoming, collaborative, and secure place for learning and socializing, acting as the primary contact for our community.
    • Community Building: Forge and maintain strategic relationships within the local NYC tech community, organizing meetups and events to expand our presence and brand recognition.
    • Lead Generation: Utilize partnerships to drive leads and attract prospective students to our campus, maintaining a steady flow of high-quality applications.
    • Event Coordination: Collaborate with the Events Manager to host diverse events and engage current and potential learners, alumni, and industry professionals, including occasional night and weekend commitments.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work across various teams to ensure a seamless experience for students and the community, involving Admissions, Community, Education, Career Services, Advising, and Marketing.
    • Brand Ambassadorship: Represent Flatiron School at industry events, create engaging content for social media, and facilitate networking activities as needed.

    Qualifications:

    • 2+ years in partnership management, business development, sales, or related roles in the education or tech sector.
    • Demonstrated success in growing a substantial community in NYC.
    • Deep understanding and enthusiasm for the local NYC tech ecosystem.
    • Excellent communication skills, adept at addressing large groups and leading group activities, connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
    • Organized, with strong time management skills and adaptability to changing schedules.
    • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of making independent, business-aligned decisions.
    • Ability to analyze student data, identify trends, and provide informed recommendations.
    • Proven track record of meeting quantitative goals through strategic partnerships to increase the pool of potential learners.
    • Experience with CRMs like Salesforce and other databases is a plus.

    Expected Compensation:

    • $80,000-$85,000
