ABOUT THE ROLE

We're looking for someone to join our bustling Tax Department who can help our clients maintain regulatory compliancy across relevant states and a thorough understanding of the ramifications of not meeting/adhering to governmental requirements. Ideally, this person will have efficiency and integrity hardwired into their daily responsibilities and a calm disposition that does not get flustered with rigid deadlines.

This opportunity is for you if you have:

At least 2 years of payroll tax experience
Meticulous attention to detail and organization
Innate desire to follow established processes for compliance
A love of new technology (and are quick to adapt to it)
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken forms
Superior client service skills

In this role, you will:

Be the primary monitor and responder for the Tax Dept email inbox-where notices, tax inquiries, and amendment requests are sent
Update UI rates in Payroll System (ExecuPay) & MasterTax System when we receive annual mailings and bulk update files
Monitor and oversee Middesk Account
Coordinate and file new and outstanding POAs
Provide relevant details for necessary client notification emails when state filing requirements change
Assist with amendments, as needed
Assist in quarter/year end processing (April, July, October, January)
