- Prefer candidates with a valid US passport.

- Provide experience with Global Security Systems (GSS), Access Control entry (ACE), Wireless, Riverbeds, Infoblox.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of complex LAN/WAN communications, network hardware such as Cisco routers, Ethernet switches, bridges, gateways, and firewalls.
- Provide in-depth knowledge of routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP, BGP, Multicast, QoS and OSPF.
- Provide strong understanding and practical experience with technologies like Multi-Schedule Private Line Service Tariffs (MPLS), Virtual Private LAN Service (VPLS), MLA Virtual Private Network (VPNs) and Traffic Engineering Duties involve among others, management of local and wide area network, projects, and installation of new devices, system and on-going maintenance of infrastructure. Provide working knowledge of all the software supporting the SMC as it is stated in the contract.
- Minimum of four (4) years of experience in IT customer support.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a military environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally with diverse audiences, internally and externally to foster strong teamwork.
- Work well independently or as a member of a team environment
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in maintaining certifications related to the requirement of the position.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:
Comtech Systems, Inc (CSI) is looking for SATCOM Terminal Remote Monitoring (STRMM) Senior Network Engineer candidates who will be responsible for overseeing the STRMM network and network related tickets assigned by the SMC Helpdesk Personnel. The Senior Network Engineer will be well versed with the advanced engineering and administration of multiprotocol routers, multilayer switches, network security devices and network management systems. The Senior Network engineer will also have in depth knowledge of networking protocols (Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Multicast, Quality of service (QoS), etc.) and a good understanding of Voice communication protocols and supplication. In addition, they will have knowledge of virtualization and storage technologies (i.e., VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) and must have CCNA or CCNP and Security+. Candidates will be expected to work with a spirit of cooperation and must exhibit a tenacious work ethic while possessing the drive and critical thinking to excel in potentially tumultuous conditions.
