Description
The Metro Group, Inc., an established water treatment and boiler services company, is currently looking for a Service Operations Coordinator.
The selected individual will work closely with our service, sales & finance departments to ensure the highest level of satisfaction to our internal and external customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing timely response and assistance to customers, internal stakeholders, and technicians.
- Answering phones for servicerelated inquiries and requests.
- Contacting and scheduling services for external customers.
- Developing the industry knowledge necessary to provide excellent customer service in Burner/Boiler mechanical services.
- Support billing and accounts receivable operations to include workorder review and invoicing.
- Supporting all Service Department objectives to include work order turnaround times, customer contact timelines, customer experience metrics, and billing objectives.
- Procurement operations for parts and supplies to include planning, vendor communication, generating purchase orders, and parts tracking.
- General administrative tasks such as payroll and physical/electronic file management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
- 3+ years' experience working in a fast paced office environment
- Previous customer service experience in an industrial or service industry preferred
- Previous experience with customer collections preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to meet physical requirement of position
- Courteous, professional demeanor
- Availability to start within a maximum of 2 weeks

$40, $50,000.00 per year
