About the role

  • The Field and Warehouse Associate plays a multifaceted role, encompassing responsibilities in both site surveying and warehouse management. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth operations in solar system installations and maintaining efficient warehouse functions.

What you'll do

  • Conduct site surveys for solar installations, prioritizing customer interaction and satisfaction while gathering technical data.
  • Collaborate with customers to address concerns, gather site assessment data, and ensure client satisfaction and retention.
  • Utilize auditing tools and equipment to conduct thorough physical site audits, identifying and communicating potential installation issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive site audit documents and photos in a cloud server for reference and accessibility.
  • Collect necessary electrical data required for project completion and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
  • Manage all warehouse activities, including receiving, stocking, and delivering materials to local installation crews.
  • Maintain organized warehouse inventory and equipment setup according to standards and best practices.
  • Operate forklift to unload shipments, process receipts, and stock shelves, ensuring safety and efficiency.
  • Coordinate material movement through the warehouse and pick and package materials for installation teams.
  • Work closely with service, installation, and postinstallation teams to manage materials, documentation, and project logistics.
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse at all times.
  • Perform additional tasks assigned by management promptly and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Physical capability to conduct site surveys and work in warehouse environments, including lifting heavy objects and working in outdoor conditions.
  • Valid state driver's license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Understanding of site assessment methodologies, construction practices, and materials.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts and handling warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
  • Ability to maintain accurate documentation and follow established processes.
  • Adaptability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Previous warehouse experience and familiarity with warehouse operations preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to adhere to safety protocols and wear necessary protective equipment.
