Description

Background in construction and/or planning is preferred. Experience as a code enforcement officer is a plus.

The State of Maine Code Enforcement Certifications or the ability to obtain them within one year of hire is required.

This position requires knowledge of the Maine State Plumbing Code, Maine Subsurface Wastewater Disposal Rules State of Maine Shoreland Zoning Ordinance and the Town of Mechanic Falls Land Use Ordinance.

This position also serves as the Health Officer and the Safety Compliance Officer and reports directly to the Town Manager.
