About Us
Our client is a renowned medium-sized organization from the public sector based in Düsseldorf.

They provide extensive consulting services for member companies, act as a representative for business, politics, and society, and enjoy a high level of external and internal trust and reputation.

As part of a succession plan, we are filling the position of "Head of Audit" (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

You report directly to the management and have full trust and freedom in shaping the role.
You take on central responsibility for the audit department. Together with your team, you are responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting audits and act as a contact person for any related questions.
You develop and monitor guidelines and maintain audit standards.
Through performance monitoring, you identify process weaknesses and implement concrete measures for improvement.

Profile:

You have a degree in business administration and/or public administration or a comparable qualification.
You have extensive professional experience in auditing, finance, accounting, or administrative law.
You have analytical and conceptual thinking skills and the ability to simplify complex issues. You also have a structured, goaloriented work style.
You have previous experience in a leadership role and excel in communication and respectful interaction. We also welcome candidates (m/f/d) who have not held an official leadership position but have gained relevant experience.
