The Willich I Correctional Facility is looking for media designers (m/f/d) in the work service.

What can you expect?

Officers in the work service (WD) manage labor administration facilities in correctional facilities, where they instruct prisoners in work and train them in various trades. They also perform repair and maintenance work on work equipment, machines, and technical facilities in the facility as needed.

In close cooperation with specialist services - including psychologists, doctors, educators, and chaplains - they ensure that adult and juvenile prisoners live together responsibly and orderly during their incarceration by promoting and challenging them through work.

In addition to carrying out sovereign tasks within correctional facilities, officers in the work service manage facilities according to business and professional principles. They work in all work areas according to customer-oriented guidelines regarding quality, performance, and product.

Prisoners receive job-oriented training and further education in work and training facilities, such as carpentry, locksmithing, etc. This allows them to acquire new skills, maintain their ability to work, and develop an awareness of regular work.

Through their care, treatment, provision, and supervision, officers in the work service ensure that prisoners lead a life without further crimes and in social responsibility after their release from prison, thus protecting society from further offenses.
