- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients on insurance coverage matters, including coverage disputes, policy interpretation, and claim handling.
- Conduct a thorough analysis of insurance policies, statutes, and case law to determine coverage obligations and advise clients accordingly.
- Draft and negotiate coverage opinions, reservation of rights letters, and settlement agreements.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and litigation related to insurance coverage disputes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including insurers, insureds, and opposing counsel, to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Stay abreast of developments in insurance law and industry trends to provide proactive and strategic advice to clients.
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience practicing insurance coverage law.
- Demonstrated expertise in analyzing insurance policies and advising clients on coverage issues.
- Proven track record of successfully handling insurance coverage disputes through negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and litigation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and persuasively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality work products and exceptional client service.
- Flexibility to work in-office in Los Angeles with the possibility of a hybrid arrangement.

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Coverage Attorney with a minimum of 1 year of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance law and be capable of providing expert guidance on complex coverage matters. While our preference is for an in-office presence in Los Angeles, we are open to considering exceptional candidates residing outside the area.
