Village Caregiving in Fort Wayne, located in Kokomo, Indiana, is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver for our community.

This is a part-time, hourly healthcare/medical role with a competitive compensation of $15 to $18 per hour, paid semimonthly, with a Daily Pay card.

As a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing daily assistance and support to our clients with their personal care needs while promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.

- $15 to $18 per hour, paid semimonthly

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
Monitor and report any changes to the appropriate medical personnel
Medication reminders
Assist with meal preparation and feeding
Provide companionship and support to clients to promote socialization
Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up common areas
Follow all safety protocols and report any incidents or concerns to the supervisor
Maintain accurate and detailed records of care provided

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a caregiving role preferred
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift and transfer residents, up to 50 pounds
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic towards others
Must pass a background check
