Chan Tutoring Center is a tutoring center for K-12 Graders. We are looking to hire experienced tutors or teachers to teach in-person 1-on-1 students from K-12th grade.Responsibilities:
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment
- Assess students' learning needs and develop individualized lesson plans
- Write and implement a curriculum that aligns with educational standards
- Provide feedback and guidance to students to support their academic progress
- Collaborate with other educators and professionals to ensure student success
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in a classroom or tutoring setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
- Knowledge of lesson planning and curriculum development
Hours:
- Flexible from Monday to Sunday
- Hours vary for tutor positions
- Salary is commensurate with experience and negotiable.
- Inperson teaching location is on 18th Ave between 60th and 61st street or 15th Ave between 81st and 82nd Street.
