Maintenance Technician

Requirements:

Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify and address maintenance needs.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity of facilities and equipment.
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and smoothing.
Select and mix paint colors to ensure consistency and match existing surfaces.
Address minor repairs and maintenance issues promptly.
Collaborate with other maintenance staff to tackle more complex repairs.
Safely operate and maintain equipment, tools, and machinery relevant to painting and maintenance tasks.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs and painting projects.
Document paint colors and materials used for future reference.
Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols while performing duties.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other staff regarding maintenance and painting projects.
Develop and adhere to schedules for routine maintenance, painting projects, and repairs.
Prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and ensure efficient use of time.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Proven experience in maintenance and painting.
Knowledge of various painting techniques and materials.
Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
Basic understanding of safety protocols and compliance standards.
