Description

Structural Engineering Group, Inc (SEG) is looking for an experienced Estimator to join our team. This position will be responsible for estimating construction projects.

The Estimator will work closely with our Senior Estimators and Project Managers to create estimates for new construction projects and existing projects.

This position will also work on the production of bid packages for projects.


Responsibilities

• Create and review estimates for new construction projects and existing projects
• Create and review bid packages for new construction projects and existing projects
• Review project documents, such as schedules, budgets, and subcontracts
• Create estimates based on project information provided by the client
• Submit estimates to the client for review and approval
• Communicate with clients to gather additional information or resolve issues
• Communicate with clients regarding bids submitted, timelines, or other concerns
• Manage the bidding process from start to finish, including submission, review, and award of contracts
• Ensure all aspects of the project are followed through to completion
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Manager

Education/Experience/Skills/Knowledge

• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred (Construction Management, Construction Science, Engineering or related field) or equivalent experience in a Construction Management office location.
• Experience in a Construction Management office location preferred.
• Experience working on a Construction Management office team.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) preferred.

Pay:
Up to $113,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Construction estimating: 5 years (preferred)
