Homeschool Teacher


Schedule:
Monday to Thursday

Glenbrook Academy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate teacher to join Christian homeschool pod. This unique educational opportunity involves instructing a small group of about 5-6 children in a home-based setting.

The approach is inspired by the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy, emphasizing rich literature, nature study, fine arts, and the formation of good habits.


Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that align with the Charlotte Mason method.

Foster a nurturing, creative, and stimulating educational environment.

Conduct lessons that incorporate Scripture and Christian values.

Guide students through hands-on learning experiences in nature, art, and science.

Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback.

Collaborate with parents to ensure the educational needs of each child are met.


Requirements:

A strong faith and commitment to Christian education.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment.

Experience in teaching or tutoring children is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Credentials in education are preferred but not required.


Training & Support:

Ongoing support and resources will be available to ensure successful lesson planning and implementation.


Compensation:

Competitive salary (based on experience and qualifications).

Paid training in the Charlotte Mason educational philosophy.
