As a Dairy Laboratory Technician at Milchwerke Schwaben in Redondo Beach, you will be responsible for testing the ingredients and properties of our dairy products at all stages of production.

Using chemical and microbiological methods, you will ensure the quality of our products is impeccable.

This role requires knowledge of food regulations, hygiene standards, product and quality standards, as well as workplace and environmental safety.


Your training will include:

  • Examining the microbiological composition
  • Monitoring and calibrating technical equipment
  • Checking environmental conditions, such as air and water quality
  • Ensuring sterility of packaged products
  • Inspecting packaging materials

The apprenticeship lasts for 3 years and takes place at our company location in NeuUlm. Theoretical training will also be provided at the Triesdorf Education Center in block sessions.


Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to continue your education as a Dairy Laboratory Master or Manager for Dairy Laboratory Operations while working.

This will qualify you for leadership roles and taking on responsible tasks in both the business and technological fields.
