Description
The College of Sciences and Technology is seeking assistance for the University's New Student Orientation for First Time in College students from May 18, 2024, to August 2, 2024, in the OMB.
We are seeking a student worker who is willing to share their first-year experience here at UHD and open dialog discussions with incoming FTICs regarding the resources provided by UHD and CST.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Provides excellent customer service to students by assisting in the course registration lab as students are trying to register for courses advised to take after their advising appointment
- Monitors/participates in actively engaging with students while waiting to be advised as part of the orientation process
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be a UHD student
- Currently a STEM student
- Good academic standing (preference given to 3.0 GPA or higher)
