- Education: Master's degree in Social Work or related field with specialization in mental health.
- Licensure/Certification: Must maintain an unencumbered license (i.e., LPC, LCSW, LMSW); by a certified board in Louisiana (i.e., LPCB, LABSWE).
- Ability to direct the work of others and work in a team environment; One to two years of supervisory/leadership experience preferred
- A minimum of two yrs. experience in individual, group, and family therapy;
- A minimum of one year experience in discharge planning, clinical case management or a similar position in a community based agency setting which provides experience in referrals for patients.
- Ability to assess the needs and provide the required range of treatment modalities and interventions
- Experience with performing utilization reviews.
- Ability to clearly speak, write and understand verbal and written English. Selected skills/credentials as defined by the department's scope of services.

Since 1970, River Oaks has established a tradition of excellence in the treatment of acute psychiatric illness, dual diagnosis, alcohol and drug detoxification, trauma based disorders, compulsive behaviors, and eating disorders, River Oaks has provided quality treatment to service individuals suffering from mental illness, and/or addictive disorders. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient).
River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Program Director of PHP/IOP - To provide clinical social work direction and expertise to the Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP); develop, implement and be responsible for the direction and delivery of social services in assigned areas according to patient needs. Adhere to standards for patient quality care, serve as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, contribute to the well-being and attainment of treatment goals for patients within guidelines set by the Social Services Department Director.
