We provide clients with broad strategic, commercial, and operational support, with the overarching objectives of delivering actionable insights and tangible results, and accelerating economic development as a whole.

Position Description
We seek an Analyst or Associate to contribute to our high-impact client projects and increase our organizational capacity. Our engagements typically entail some combination of strategy development, business / operational planning, and economic / financial modeling.

Key responsibilities and aspects of the role include:

• Structure complex business problems and develop quantitative and qualitative analytical methodologies
• Review and summarize industry reports, academic literature, client documents, and other materials
• Perform economic, financial, and statistical analysis analysis (e.g., market sizing, investment IRR, valuations)
• Provide key recommendations supported by wellreasoned logic
• Assist with business development, including drafting proposals and tender documents, and authoring thought leadership pieces (e.g., white papers, blogs)

Required Qualifications

• Strong economic analysis and financial modeling skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of economics, statistics, and quantitative and qualitative analysis techniques (e.g., regressions, probabilistic analysis)
• Exceptional Microsoft Excel skills for advanced spreadsheet formulas
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and set and achieve goals, with endtoend accountability for the delivery of highquality, timely outputs, with absolute attention to detail
• A high degree of maturity, utmost integrity, and strong teamwork skills
• Interest in learning about infrastructureled development in emerging markets
• Strong academic record in Economics, Business, Statistics, Mathematics, or another related field

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with financial statement modeling and company / asset valuations
• Experience in telecommunications and/or financial services
• Programming skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL), and experience with Python libraries (e.g., pandas, scikitlearn)
• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI)
• Familiarity with Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data and software
• Working proficiency in French, Spanish, Portuguese and / or Arabic
