• Review and verify accuracy of billing data and revise any errors
• Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies
• Follow up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle timeframe
• Utilize ICD9, ICD10, and DRG coding systems to assign appropriate codes
• Maintain knowledge of medical office procedures and regulations
• Communicate with insurance companies to resolve billing issues
• Process payments from insurance companies and patients
• Update patient accounts with adjustments and payments
• Input vaccines into Immunet
• Run eligibility of benefits for patients insurances

• Proven experience in medical billing, coding, and collections
• Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
• Proficiency in using medical billing software and electronic health record systems
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and insurance companies
• Knowledge of ICD9, ICD10 coding systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
