    Description

    Job Title: DevOps Engineer

    ROLE PROFILE

    SOURCE Global, PBC, an Arizona-based company developing water-from-air drinking water systems, is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join a growing team as we bring products to market. This is a full-time employment position. The successful candidate will be team player, take a hands-on approach, and be passionate about his or her work. The DevOps Engineer will be a key developer of a cloud-based infrastructure using the latest technology in NoSQL data systems, high-performance data analysis, and intuitive user interfaces.

    In this role, you will:

    • Maintain the operation of a global, cloud-based infrastructure
    • Develop "Infrastructure as Code" for automating and improving software deployment
    • Identify, analyze and document new software requirements
    • Follow an Agile development methodology
    • Design and implement software components using object orientation
    • Develop and execute software test plans
    • Maintain version control of software source code
    • Design and execute automated tests
    • Perform functional verification and system integration testing

    REQUIREMENTS
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
    • Vast experience with AWS
    • Strong understanding of microservices orchestration, DevOps, and CI/CD
    • Strong "Infrastructure as Code" experience
    • Python programming skills
    • Understanding of object orientation
    • Understanding of Agile development methodologies
    • Hands-on and data-driven approach to problem solving
    • Ability to learn and work in a fast-paced and always-evolving environment
    A DAY IN THE LIFE

    As a DevOps Engineer at SOURCE Global, you'll spend a significant portion of your day designing and maintaining cloud services for our global IoT platform, interacting with other engineers, and supporting Network Operations.

    The typical work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Some weekends may be required when targets are not achieved.
