Position:
Test Analyst

Location:
Hybrid - Rosemead, CA

Position Overview:


Responsibilities

  • Develop and document comprehensive test cases and user stories to support structured manual testing and automated testing procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with business clients and vendors to gather requirements and specifications for test case development.
  • Conduct interviews with business clients to ensure a thorough understanding of system functionalities and user needs.
  • Employ riskbased testing strategies to prioritize testing efforts and maximize test coverage.
  • Utilize test case management tools such as JIRA to organize and track testing activities effectively.

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including riskbased testing principles.
  • Proficiency in using test case management tools such as JIRA or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized and detailoriented, with the ability to manage multiple testing tasks simultaneously.

Preferred:


  • Previous experience working in the electrical utility, transmission, or distribution industry.
  • Familiarity with automation testing frameworks and tools.
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

$50.00 per hour
