    Job Title: EV Advisory Services Supervisor

    Department Overview

    The Clean Energy Transportation (CET) group at PG&E is on a mission to speed up the adoption of clean vehicles in California, aiming to electrify 3 million vehicles by 2030. CET manages a diverse portfolio of transportation electrification (TE) programs, totaling approximately $0.6B, to boost the usage of clean vehicles in California and combat climate change. We are seeking an energetic, well-organized strategic thinker to assist us in expanding this portfolio. Our focus is to deploy electric vehicle programs, enhance access to charging infrastructure, lower the cost of electric vehicle ownership, educate customers, and explore innovative strategies to unlock further benefits for EV drivers and the grid.

    Team Overview

    PG&E believes that electric vehicles (EVs) can offer a quadruple value stack of reliability, resiliency, affordability, and reduced greenhouse gas emissions for the grid and our customers. Our goal is to facilitate the shift to EVs by simplifying the process, educating customers about the advantages of EVs, and linking customers to available resources and incentives. CET's EV Customer Programs team manages a robust set of EV programs and contributes to the overarching strategy to overcome obstacles hindering EV adoption.

    Position Summary

    CET's EV Advisory programs focus on guiding customers through their transportation electrification journey and providing a central contact point within PG&E. EV Advisors will handle various TE topics, such as site selection, fleet electrification planning, rate selection, load management, vehicle-to-grid integrations, and serve as subject matter experts to facilitate the electrification of medium and heavy-duty fleet vehicles. The supervisor will play a crucial role in supporting the development of our EV Advisory Services portfolio and contributing to our overall strategy for customer success.

    • Lead a team of 5-8 EV Advisors responsible for customer education, solution design, and onboarding for PG&E's EV infrastructure programs.
    • Coordinate internal collaboration efforts with various PG&E teams and external engagement with key stakeholders and customers.
    • Advocate for customers, ensuring PG&E fulfills its commitments and comprehends customer satisfaction tradeoffs.

    This role involves a hybrid work model, primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings in Oakland based on business needs.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Establish and track success metrics for EV Advisory Programs, focusing on cycle time, attrition, customer satisfaction, and cost optimization.
    • Achieve customer acquisition targets for EV Fleet and EV Advisory programs.
    • Develop training materials and provide guidance to ensure the team can effectively engage with customers on Transportation Electrification topics.
    • Enhance the understanding of the customer journey and lead continuous improvement efforts for high customer satisfaction.
    • Collaborate with Program Managers on marketing strategies to increase program participation.
    • Ensure accurate data entry and project documentation in Salesforce.
    • Cultivate a collaborative environment that promotes transparency and progress towards shared objectives.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
    • Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
    • Valid California Driver's License.

    • Experience in the Clean Transportation industry, particularly with customer-facing or advisory programs.
    • Background in managing and optimizing processes.
