Join our team of elite hospitality professionals at the recently built, state of the art, KPMG Lakehouse in Lake Nona.KPMG Lakehouse boasts 800 single king bed sleeping rooms, over 100,000 square feet of multi-purpose meeting space, along with 4 unique food and beverage venues including a500+ seat three meal venue thatfeatures 8 diverse culinary experiences.

Assistant Director of Engineering responsibilities include:

Oversight of the operation of the hotel inside and outside; knowledgeable in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Electrical Engineering
Serve as an engineering leader and technical expert in answering inquiries and resolving issues brought forth by engineering team members
Oversee detailed engineering plans, processes, and procedures for departmental team members to use and abide by
Effectively communicate and collaborate with other departmental leaders, supervisors, suppliers, and contractors
Conduct various tests and quality assurance checks to verify the quality of completed projects

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate has previous leadership experience
A minimum of 5 years' experience in facility/building maintenance
Refined oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, guests and business partners
Established experience as a team leader, with proven ability to strategically install practices to achieve business goals
Be computer literate and fully conversant with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Previous experience with HotSOS, building management systems, commercial HVAC equipment and commercial kitchen equipment preferred
