We are looking for someone to join our team onsite at our interim housing facility in Mid City. We provide housing to formerly incarcerated individuals with a history of mental illness and trauma.


Shifts available
11pm-7am

3pm-11pm

Night shift 12 hours, Saturday and Sunday


What you'll do:

  • Observe, monitor and document the behavior of our residents during your shift and at end of shift
  • Assist clients with ADL reminders
  • Provide mediation and crisis intervention to our residents as needed
  • Intervene as necessary when a policy is being breached; have a strong knowledge of our agencies, policies and procedures
  • Use a harm reduction, traumainformed, housing first model when working with our residents
  • Support residents with housing, health, and wellness goals
  • Facility maintenance/cleaning as needed

What you'll need:
- ( Preferred ) 1+ years in experience providing direct services to individuals with a history of incarceration, substance abuse, and/or mental illness

  • Familiarity with addiction recovery programs
  • Working knowledge of traumainformed care and harm reduction service model
  • A commitment to and passion for the mission, vision, values, and culture of our program
  • An ability to work in a fastpaced environment that requires effective collaboration with a variety of organizations and individuals

SKILLS:

De-escalation, Clear communication Monitoring, Reporting, and conducting appropriate searches as needed. Word and Outlook knowledge for end of shift documentation.

Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $18.05 per hour
