    LOCATION: VOX KITCHEN

    Role: Barista

    Job Type: Part-time, Full-time

    Pay: $16-$18 Plus Tips (Depending on Experience)

    SCHEDULE

    • Part-time, Full-time
    • Day shift: AM to mid afternoon
    • Night shift: mid afternoon to closing
    • Weekend availability
    • Holidays

    Roles and Responsibilities:

    • Ensure the staff have adequate certificates.
    • Understand bar etiquette and ability to apply things such as FIFO.
    • Prepare and serve a wide range of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes and standards.
    • Provide prompt and friendly customer service, engaging with guests to ensure a positive experience.
    • Educate customers on our menu offerings, including coffee origins, flavor profiles, and brewing methods.
    • Operate and maintain coffee brewing equipment, espresso machines, and other tools with precision and care.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, including brewing stations, condiment stations, and serving areas.
    • Restock inventory, monitor supply levels, and place orders as needed to ensure adequate stock of ingredients and supplies.
    • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
    • Collaborate with team members to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods.

    Job Requirements:

    • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of our guests.
    • Possesses basic math skills, can handle money accurately & efficiently, and operate a cash register.
    • Strong Attention to detail.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Good time management and organizational skills.
    • Fully comply with the health code.
    • Food Handler Card certification training hours are provided (if needed).
    • Responsible Beverage Service license (if required).
    • 1 year experience in customer service or food service role preferred.
    • Flexible/Adaptable schedule. Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
