For my client, an owner-managed, medium-sized, internationally operating logistics service provider with 38 offices in 16 countries and approximately 450 employees worldwide, I am currently looking for a Freight Forwarding Specialist (m/f/d) with a focus on sea freight to join their team in Tyrone, GA.

The company serves various business fields in the areas of heavy, project, and plant transportation with a global focus and is represented in Germany with 30 employees.

They are currently looking for new team members for their headquarters in Bremen and their branch in Mönchengladbach.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of freight inquiries and tenders of all kinds, including freight procurement and submission of offers
Diverse tasks in all product areas of sea freight with a focus on exports, occasionally also air freight and imports
Operational processing of orders from A to Z
Support of customers, own offices, and partners in domestic and international markets
Creative problemsolving in a challenging and dynamic business environment

Qualifications:

Completed training as a freight forwarding and logistics specialist (m/f/d) or freight forwarding clerk (m/f/d)
Several years of professional experience in the freight forwarding industry is desirable (although my client is open to both experienced professionals and entrylevel candidates)
Good knowledge of German and English
Enjoyment of working in an international environment with all its challenges and surprises
Teamwork and ability to work in a team together we solve challenges and develop
