Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Help the team envision, architect, and build, scalable data platform that will power BioMADE's Digital Backbone focusing on scalable data lake, data integration, data transformation, and curation.
• Develop both internally and externally facing APIs and interfaces.
• Implement data governance and security protocols to ensure data integrity and compliance.
• Deploy code at regular intervals to maintain a development cycle responsive to user needs.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle: analysis, technical design, planning, development, testing/CICD, release, and postproduction support.
• Adhere to best practices to ensure a wellstructured, reliable codebase.
• Create and update internal system documentation.
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, physical sciences, or related discipline.
• 24 years of experience developing data systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep understanding of data infrastructure and how enterprises use data.
• Handson experience in designing, developing enterpriselevel data systems with a focus on security, performance, and scalability.
• Fluent in Python and at least one compiled language (C++, Java, etc.)
• Expertise in SQL, Spark/pySpark, and other data processing tools
• Experience in Data Warehouse architecture and integration.
• Experience building connectors to standard analytical, data science, and BI tools (both internal and external facing).
• Experience building secure multitenant data systems.
• Demonstrated experience in building endtoend data ingestion.
• Proficiency in writing SQL queries for analytic purposes.
• Knowledge of experimentation methodologies, such as A/B testing, multivariate testing, and statistical analysis.
• Comfortable working in a containerbased environment.
• Comfortable with realtime computing paradigms and communications protocol.
• Must possess the ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
• Must possess excellent communication skills, in both verbal and written form.
