Responsibilities

  • Quoting various modes of transportation based on the customers' needs
  • Coordinating shipments with customers and booking with carriers
  • Negotiating rates with carriers
  • Tracking shipments and updating customers
  • Learning and understanding trucking markets
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and building customer relationships.
  • Complete accurate profit and loss analysis for each shipment
  • Coordinating transportation providers to ensure proper movements of shipments
  • Responding to Customer inquiries (quoting domestic shipments, tracking, and tracing updates
  • Preparing BOLs and invoices in Magaya Cargo System for movement of freight

Requirements:


  • 23 years of experience
  • Strong communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work on a team and assist team members when needed
  • Excellent customer service and problemsolving skills
  • Motivated to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Able to multitask, prioritize daily tasks, and manage time effectively
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • FTL / LTL experience 23 years
  • Minimum 2 years working in customer service and documentation related to freight forwarder
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to solve problems when they arise
  • Experience using Magaya Cargo System is a plus
