JOB SUMMARY
Focus on traceability accuracy and should have a one vision-structure-direction. This position works to

update the inventory database and perform inventory transactions on all materials issued out of the

Stockroom. It also provides support to manage the inventory and deliver materials out to the Production floor.


SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES

  • Perform cycle count of parts in the Stockroom
  • Receive materials to stock and perform transactions to take material out of stock
  • Keep strict control over all transactions coming in and out of the Stockroom
  • Keep inventory in the right locations and defined boundaries
  • Transact materials using the FIFO method and provide Lot Numbers for in and out transactions
  • Clean as you go responsibility to maintain a clean and orderly work area. Keep tools, materials and equipment in the proper place
  • Be flexible to work extra hours as needed
  • Provide excellent service to the Production Floor to provide what they need in achieving their everyday goal
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and ethics code

Team Lead ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES include:

  • Run daily production meetings with operators reviewing the next/relevant topics
  • Set a daily plan based on the schedule
  • Review priorities (Daily &Weekly) with respect to production schedule completion dates
  • Communicate regularly with other departments and leads
  • Training of operators on:
  • 5S and Safety (Ensure the team is aware of established safety practices. Ensure the production line is clean and organized. Kits and tools are properly stored to prevent any damage.)
  • Ensure work orders are stamped off when work is completed at each assigned step and before the monument advances to the next station
  • Provide completed units to Quality or Next Department. If there are any NC's, they must be posted on the monument to ensure proper visibility
  • Provide completed and stamped off work orders
  • Rework units based on quality findings
  • Improve process quality of the build process based on the Quality inspection findings (BIQ-Build in Quality)
  • Serve as consultant, advisor, or SME (Subject Matter Expert) in the work area
  • Support, evaluate and implement alternate solutions to work related issues
  • Serve as department representative for special projects
  • Provide feedback to management on individuals' performance in their workrelated assignments
  • Other duties as directed by management

Team Lead does NOT perform the following tasks under any circumstances:

  • Be given authority to approve vacation, sick or other attendance issues
  • Have salary or grade level related discussions with an employee
  • Have oneonone discussions with employees about disciplinary issues and/or corrective action including performance issues
  • Discipline an employee
  • Prepare Performance Evaluations for employees. (However, Team Leads should be able to provide input to management, if requested)
  • Discuss Equal Opportunity Program or security related investigation issues with an employee
  • Be the final hiring decision maker
  • Have access or ability to review Confidential or Boeing Limited "personnel" related information or documents

GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS - Education, Knowledge, and Experience

Education:


  • A High School Diploma is desired
  • A twoyear college, trade/technical school or certification is a plus.

Experience:


  • A minimum of 13 years of direct experience preferred
