Digital Distribution Engineer (m/f/d) In order to achieve climate protection goals, renewable energy producers, energy storage systems, heat pumps, and charging facilities for electromobility must be quickly and safely integrated into distribution networks.

The digitalization of these networks plays a key role in actively managing all distribution network levels.

Become part of a newly established organizational unit at Regionetz GmbH, actively shape the digitalization of distribution networks, and make an important contribution to the success of the energy transition.


Your tasks:

Establishment, testing, and maintenance of digital distribution network twins (MS & NS) including measurement data integration for real-time network management Analysis, validation, and monitoring of network state estimates and forecasts Further development, implementation, and monitoring of rollout strategies for distribution network digitalization Continuous improvement of recently established distribution network management processes (Redispatch 2.0, §14a EnWG, etc.)



Responsibility for cross-functional projects What you bring:
Completed degree in electrical engineering/ electrical energy technology Enthusiasm for the topics of energy transition, digitalization, and distribution networks High motivation to comprehensively familiarize yourself with new topics Preferably first experiences in network modeling & stationary network calculation, programming skills (e.g. Python, Matlab), and the desire to deepen your knowledge Good English and very good German skills as well as proficiency in using MS Office 365 Structured work, a high
