Job Summary:
The Insurance Services Advisor is responsible for advising clients on suitable insurance products that meet their individual needs. This role involves assessing clients' insurance requirements, providing expert advice, and selling insurance policies.

The Insurance Services Advisor will build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, ensuring they receive the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Client Consultation and Assessment:
Meet with clients to understand their insurance needs and financial objectives.

Conduct thorough assessments of clients' existing insurance coverage and identify gaps or areas for improvement.

Provide expert advice on insurance products and recommend appropriate solutions.


Sales and Business Development:
Generate new business by identifying potential clients through networking, referrals, and marketing activities.

Present and explain insurance products to clients, highlighting benefits, coverage options, and premiums.

Customize insurance programs to suit individual client needs.

Achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.


Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients.

Provide ongoing support and service to clients, addressing their inquiries and concerns promptly.

Conduct regular reviews of clients' insurance policies to ensure they remain appropriate and cost-effective.

Assist clients with claims processing and follow-up.


Product Knowledge and Education:
Stay informed about various insurance products, including life, health, property, casualty, and business insurance.

Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance regulations and industry trends.

Educate clients on the insurance policies they purchase and how these meet their needs.


Administrative Duties:
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and transactions.

Follow up with underwriters and provide necessary information for policy approval.

Ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.


Compliance and Ethics:
Ensure all sales activities comply with state and federal regulations and company policies.

Conduct business with the highest level of ethical standards and integrity.


Team Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless client service.

Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.

  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Sales & customer service & management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Selfmotivated and goaloriented mindset
  • Ability to manage a marketing pipeline and sales funnel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Desire to be active in community and really help people navigate insurance needs
  • Desire to build a strong sales team to handle day to day operations
  • No bankruptcies within the last 5 years
  • Not more than $5000 in collections
  • Favorable criminal record
  • Be willing to work towards getting your Property, Casualty, Life and Health insurance licenses
