But what does a carpenter (m/f/x) do at KEMMLIT exactly? Of course, they work with wood, but what exactly is being produced? The range of tasks is very diverse.

It involves custom-made, high-quality partition walls, solutions for clean rooms, and storage cabinets. We don't just work with wood, so you will learn about many different materials and substances. Computers and wood? Even in traditional crafts like carpentry, computers are used today. They support the work processes and are used to create digital designs. Entire machines can even be computer-controlled. The combination of manual work and the use of computers makes this profession particularly exciting and varied. At KEMMLIT, you will work with state-of-the-art machines (e.g. CNC, circular saw, milling machine). You will also find some robots in our production, so you can get to know the latest technology.

Your apprenticeship at KEMMLIT The apprenticeship is a dual training, meaning that theory is taught in vocational school, which is attended twice a week.

The practical training takes place in the company. The apprenticeship lasts a total of 3 years.
