In order to be successful in this profession, you need a good high school diploma, high motivation to learn new things, teamwork skills, and reliability for independent work.

The training to become an industrial clerk is a recognized profession in Germany according to the Vocational Training Act.

Industrial clerks take care of commercial and business tasks in companies such as order acceptance, contract processing, customer service, and invoicing.

The training usually lasts 3 years and includes insights into various departments such as purchasing, sales, human resources, finance, as well as areas such as IT, logistics, and quality management.

There is also the possibility to shorten the training to 2 years. The training is accompanied by block lessons.
