    Position Title:
    Senior Manager - Director, Incentive Compensation and Field Reporting


    The Senior Manager - Director, Incentive Compensation and Field Reporting is responsible for the development and delivery of business intelligence and analytics services across Esperion's Commercial teams for use in decision-making by business stakeholders.

    As part of the Commercial Operations & Analytics team, this position offers a unique opportunity to experience broad exposure and to participate in the implementation of analytics solutions to enable Marketing, Commercial Operations, Managed Care and other business partners within the organization to effectively executive their daily business objectives.

    The individual will be flexible and eager to embrace a continuous, aggressive learning curve and capable of supporting multiple projects in a cross-functionally collaborative environment.

    Additionally, a customer-focused orientation with strong oral, written and presentation skills are keys to success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities


    As the primary contact to the business and sales leadership, lead overall sales compensation, contests, and incentive strategy and design.

    End-to-end accountability and management for the key deliverables, including quarterly payouts and calculations, accrual support, IC analysis, dashboard design and process improvement projects.

    Influence decisions, issue resolution, and business alignment within Commercial Operations, HR, Finance, Compliance, Vendors, and Field teams.
    Present to senior leadership the incentive compensation strategies and plan performance.
    Champion the design, updates and accuracy of Field Reporting and Tableau Field Dashboards.
    Implement enabling technologies and tools to automate and streamline field sales reporting application.

    Collaborate with external vendor and internal teams to lead successful plan administration of accurate and on-time delivery of incentive compensation payments.

    Partner with finance to ensure IC accruals are accurate and provide additional finance project support for IC.
    Function as subject matter expert and provide answers around field facing reporting, which in turn supports IC.

    Define and implement business rules on sales crediting, eligibility, exceptions and reconciliation procedures and ensure governance is followed per corporate guidelines.

    Lead change management projects involving new data integrations, reports and processes.

    Serve as a subject matter expert and internal resource when it comes to understanding various data sources and impacts on Incentive Compensation.

    Maintain focus on process improvement, efficiencies, and automation.

    Master Data Management - In conjunction with Commercial Analytics and Operations, ensure the system and processes are in place to ensure a clean data warehouse, champion data exchanges with vendors.

    This includes CRM updates as requested by the Field in context of IC.
    Maintain updated daily Rx report ensuring accuracy and
    Provide Sales Training to the Field on Reports and Applications.

    Qualifications (Education & Experience)

    Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, or life science discipline; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
    Senior Manager: 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics and/or sales operations; or equivalent education and experience.
    Director: 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical commercial analytics and/or sales operations; or equivalent education and experience.

    Possess an ability to translate technical, advanced analytics across the company into a clear narrative with recommendations to help improve our commercial business.

    Deep experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, MicroStrategy, etc.
    Experience with pharmaceutical data sources (e.g., IQVIA, Symphony, claims, lab, and other syndicated data sources)
    Customer-service orientation with strong analytical, oral and written communication skills.
    Ability to understand business requirements, propose solutions, gain alignment and execute plans successfully
    Ability to synthesize data from multiple sources to address complex business questions with articulate, actionable, and fact-based insights and recommendations
    Ability to run basic statistical/analytic/ROI analyses, contribute to new analysis methodologies, and engage with analytics/statistical modeling experts as needed
    Must be able to maximize various data sources and communicate results.
    Proven ability to work creatively in a small company, fast-paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meet demanding timelines
    Demonstrated ability to develop effective / collaborative working relationships
    Excellent project management skills with demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects and priorities
    Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
