JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Repo Trader on the Global Cash Management Team


JOB SCOPE:
Responsibilities for the Repo Trader include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist and manage multi-billion dollar repo book based in Boston; generate trade ideas and opportunities across the Cash portfolios.
  • Ensure effective management of client portfolios in line with their respective investment objectives, guidelines and restrictions
  • Ensure that the US reverse repo business within the team operate in compliance with internal and external regulations and escalation procedures are followed.
  • Communicate regularly and clearly investment philosophy, process, and performance internally and externally.
  • Work closely with Senior Portfolio Managers, assisting management with defining strategy and market opportunities, maintaining client relationships, business development and marketing.
  • Specific daily responsibilities for managing the repo book:
  • Create and disseminate portfolio reporting.
  • Execute repo transactions, manage dealer relationships.
  • Assist pricing portfolio daily, manage haircut and collateral balances with dealers.
  • Assist in counterparty and collateral risk management.
  • Provide funding costs and investment opportunities to portfolio managers.
  • Manage pricing, haircuts, relativevalue with credit traders.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor in Banking/Business/Economics/Finance from a recognized university
  • Advanced Degree/CFA a plus
  • At least 35 years of meaningful working experience
  • Strong social and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work in a demanding environment and handle pressure
  • Meticulous, resourceful and critical individual
