Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director to join our team.
As the Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations on the player and coaching side of our new AAU program.
This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for working with student-athletes.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals
- Provide leadership and guidance to other coaches
- Collaborate with other AAU programs to ensure our program is shown as a positive
Experience:
- Looking for someone who is experienced and connected in the AAU world.
- Has coached a high level of basketball in previous years
Skills:
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire others
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking capabilities
Compensation:
Pay will be based on the performance of the team and having multiple teams would mean there is more of a profit for coaches to be paid.
This is a program that is starting from scratch and it will certainly take time for the program to grow.
More money makers will be camps that will be run by the coaches in the program for the youth as well as high school, along with showcases AAU tournaments which will all be collaborated by West Coast Preps ownership and AAU coaches.
