    Description

    The Care Specialists will work closely with our customers, providers ( DSPs), and county or brokerage-based case workers to support our community with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The goal is to be an ally in helping them to become the best version of themselves while having fun in the process

    The Care Specialists are front-line support who help to ensure that customers and providers are satisfied with their services.

    Specific Responsibilities:

    • Respond to emails, texts, and voicemails daily (within a 24-hour period)
    • Send birthday cards to customers and providers
    • Conduct monthly customer and provider check-in calls
    • Create Quarterly Reports (incl: Approving protocols/action plans with customer/legal guardian, training providers to customer protocols and action plans, and obtaining monthly progress of desired outcomes from customer/legal guardian/provider)
    • Answer incoming calls
    • Document customer and provider interactions in daily support notes
    • Maintain customer and provider demographic profiles for accuracy
    • Provide solutions when conflict arises between providers and customers
    • Build solid customer and provider relationships by handling questions and concerns quickly and professionally
    • Provide resources to customers and providers
    • Train and retrain providers
    • Update and maintain procedures and processes as needed
    • Complete assigned tasks as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Heart for people
    • 1 year of office experience
    • Proficient with Google and Windows platforms (including Gmail, Drive, Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Excel, and Word)
    • Must have integrity and an eagerness to grow
    • Knowledge of the I/DD community
    • Attention to detail
    • Pass a motor vehicle report
    • Clear a federal background check
    • Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma

    Compensation and Schedule:

    • Hourly Rate: $23-24 per hour depending on experience
    • Monday-Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM at our Newberg Office
    • Full-time
