- Establish and direct the implementation of sustainable processes and guidelines to promote the retention of a multigenerational clinical workforce.
b. Identify, research and implement best practice and innovative retention efforts.
c. Partner with department leaders and key stakeholders to identify strategies to retain clinical staff.
d. Measure and evaluate the impact and ROI of development programs and interventions.
- Develop and implement clinical staff mentorship opportunities.
Design and develop succession planning processes and curriculum for organization-wide mentor development to accelerate growth of the current and future leader successor talent pools and address critical development needs.
b. Collaborate with leadership for clinical coaching interventions.- Work collaboratively with others to optimize employee engagement, recognition, and retention.
Establish working relationship with Human Resources to understand and improve staff engagement and ensure utilization of wellbeing programs to enhance resilience.
b.Serve as an advisor, leadership sponsor, or consultant to the organizational Culture Council in assessing and promoting a healthy work environment and planning and administrating staff recognition programs, including nurses' week activities.
- Partner with Human Resources to enhance nurse recruitment efforts.
b. Participate in job fairs and recruitment events.
c. Establish and maintain relationships with local and regional schools of nursing and healthcare educational programs.
Qualifications
Experience Minimum Required:
- 810 years Nursing Leadership
Experience Preferred/Desired:
- Healthcare experience.
Education Minimum Required:
- BA/BS or equivalent degree required.
- RN
Education Preferred/Desired:
- Master's degree
Special Skills Minimum Required:
- Ability to effectively engage with leaders and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with professional staff and drive team performance, while also getting into the details to solve issues and create innovative solutions.
- Excellent interpersonal and influence skills.
- Effective presentation, oral and written communication skills required.
