Field Service Manager - East (New England)

As the
Field Service Manager** you will manage all aspects of the designated service region, including but not limited to, workforce selection, performance management, P&L monitoring, territory needs and opportunities, as well as customer relations.


Territory:
Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine


How you will impact Belimed and our clients

  • Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install base
  • Ensure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitability
  • Develop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitability
  • Partner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as required
  • Lead the hiring, training, and development of the field service team
  • Drive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reports
  • Develop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer service
  • Promote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency

What you need to succeed

  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Handson experience managing a field team of 510 mechanical technicians
  • Ability to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing data
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacy
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards in a service environment
  • Acceptable driving record
  • Ability to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (~15% overnight)
  • Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel
