**Your Work

In this role, you will:

  • Regularly contact internal and external customers and business partners to verify or obtain additional information to complete processing work
  • Verify accuracy of entered data against source documents
  • Look up correct codes and enter data into system
  • Process group or member level enrollment and cancellations
  • Make decisions based on review of source documents for routine and difficult processing issues
  • Enter and retrieve data using standardized keyboard functions
  • Be able to adapt to change
**QUALIFICATIONS
Your Knowledge and Experience

  • Requires High School Diploma or GED
  • Requires at least 3 years of prior relevant experience (e.g., claims, customer service, processing)
  • Knowledge of Medicare Enrollment Application and Enrollment Administration Management systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Facets system preferred Intermediate-Advanced skills creating documents/files using Excel, Outlook, Power Point, and Word
**Pay Range: The pay range for this role is: $ 20.77 to $ 24.66 for California.

Physical Requirements:

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Due to the current public health emergency in California, Blue Shield employees are almost all working remotely. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
