Description
The Community Liaison is responsible for building a referral base through provision of onsite referral resource services, as well as sales and marketing services to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, physician offices, patient/families, acute hospitals and various other referral sources.
Three to five years in a health care setting is required. Prior sales, marketing or intake experience preferred- Hospice or Home Health experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate effectively and professionally, strong public speaking skills.
- Demonstrates ability to understand hospice regulations and reimbursement criteria.
- Strong background in oncology, neurology and/or cardiology treatments and practices preferred.
- Proven record of establishing positive working relationships within academic medical centers, physicians, and community organizations.
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
