    THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELLSciens Building Solutions is seeking a Service Sales Representative for our fire safety & security business.

    This position will be servicing the Harrisburg Region.

    The Sales Representative's focus will be on new opportunities via end-user customers and expanding services to existing customers while managing and growing the business through the selling of new service contracts within the assigned territory.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (an doing well)Sellsservice and maintenance contracts,and other related services. Achieves orders/booking and gross margin goals.
    Achieves assgined annual booking quota as determined and agreed upon between the Sales Manager and the employee.
    Createsnew market share by selling a broad range of services to new customers.
    Demonstrates strong prospecting skills and the ability to build customer relationships through consultative selling and promoting customer confidence inSciens.
    Searchesfor and qualifiesopportunities on an ongoing basis; followsup with prospects in a timely manner.
    Conductspostcontract acceptancefollowup by contacting customers, ensuring commitments were met, and affirmingcustomer satisfaction once the customer haspurchased aservice agreement.
    Performs needs assessments, develops sales proposals, estimates,and presentations.
    Provides accurate forecast of activity and potential sales.
    Maintainsan in-depth knowledge of complete line of products/services andcustomers'requirementsthrough in-house training,networking,and research.

    Utilizesapproved marketing materials to present sales presentationsand proposalsto prospects, assuring the customer understands our value proposition, positive features,and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.

    Independently establishes call plans and customer followup strategies and tactics; consistently appliestime and territory management techniques.
    Works withsystems sales,operations, finance, legal, and other inside and outside resources as needed to obtain sales.
    Developsand executestacticalsales strategies,including endusers,developers,and property managers.
    Preparessales promotion campaigns for customers to promoteservice offeringsto commercial markets.

    Consistent sales performance, ability to organically grow business by providing solutions to new client base.

    Effective communication skillsand abilityto present beforebroadaudiences.
    Strong negotiation skills and competitive spirit.
    Bachelor's degree preferred. Candidates with a combination of education and experience will also be considered.
    Able to travel by air and/or ground overnight, as necessary.
